About

In project-based learning, exploration often begins with a question. One of the inquiries addressed in this instructable is, "How can I create a robot that utilizes vibrations for movement?" This instructable provides detailed, step-by-step instructions for constructing a robot capable of moving via vibrations. Students typically require a minimum of 50 minutes to construct the design outlined here and at least 90 minutes for an open-ended approach. So, the total time to complete the project is 140 minutes, or 2 hours and 20 mins. That is just based on estimates, so it may be quicker based on the skill level of the students. Unlike many sumobot designs that involve soldering or programming, this project requires neither. While a typical introductory circuit lab focuses on illuminating a bulb using a battery and wires, this lab centers on powering a motor.
