Your project, step by step

Start where you are. Each checkpoint gives you a clear action and a way to check your progress.

1. Define your goal

Describe what you want to build or learn and what success will look like. For custom CAD or printing, include dimensions, units, quantity, material preferences, budget, and any deadline. Send your goal through the project request form below.

2. Prepare your tools

Read the instructions before buying parts. Check the bill of materials, software versions, diagrams, and required skills. Make a checklist of what you have and what is missing. Explore SIGMA guides and learning programs.

3. Build and document

Start with the smallest working version. Save a copy before making changes. Label files with a date or version and record settings, measurements, and units. Finish one checkpoint before moving to the next.

4. Test and get help

Compare the expected result with what happened. Change one thing at a time and record its effect. If you get stuck, send the exact error or symptom, steps to reproduce it, tools and versions, and fixes already tried. Include your project name or existing support reference.

5. Review and improve

Share the version you want reviewed and a specific question. Include a labeled photo, screenshot, diagram, code excerpt, or test results. Explain which requirement you are checking so the next recommendation connects to your goal.

6. Complete, reflect, and keep learning

Save your final files, instructions, and test results. Tell us whether the result meets your goal, one issue you solved, and one improvement to try next. If the issue returns, continue the original email conversation with the new evidence.

Follow up without starting over

Reply to the same email conversation and include your project name and any reference already supplied. Tell us what changed and what happened when you tried the suggested step. Your final explanation should help you understand the solution and apply it again.
