I Feel Like I Got Off the Wrong Foot

My name is Matthew. I am a first-year aerospace engineering student in Central Florida trying to create a community of innovators in the 3D Additive Manufacturing business world while working as a laboratory assistant in the medical industry. I know a mouthful in one sentence. Still, I will explain everything in another article post, trying to make sense of everything.
For a while now, I have been thinking about creating something like this type of weekly “diary” I would like to share with you. It would help me keep my thoughts organized and create a structured action plan, holding me accountable for finishing a project while documenting my journey. This is mainly because I have so many ideas running through my head every day that sometimes I devise a great idea only to materialize in my subconscious thirty seconds later, frustrating me and ending back to square one.
Most importantly, I want to connect to the community base I have built for the past year and a half. I have almost one hundred fifty followers, but I do not know much about them. Some bought from my website without any background information from the company, and for most, I just asked to join over time.
During that time, I realized that no one will have the same passion for something as you do unless you look for it, but most of the time, it is a lonely journey. I say this because I am a large 3D printing enthusiast, and I understand the capabilities the field offers to every market around the globe. I am seeing the vast potential it has in the coming decades. But explaining that to someone hearing about the topic for the first time can be a little mind-boggling.
Realizing this, I noticed I had come off the wrong foot. For the past year, I have been posting blog articles focusing on 3D printing and various industry opportunities, thinking my audience has the same enthusiasm as me. But I was wrong. I did everything backward. I never showed you the process and gave you the results, not in digestible bite-sized chunks. Now, seeing this, I want to begin this new journey by showing you the thought process behind everything I currently do, moving away from the extensive industry work, and showing you more behind the scenes of what I do.
This gives a more personal feel that is more relatable and easier to understand. Building a 3D-printed house on the moon can be hard to compute (for now), even for me. So here is to a new start, and I will continue this for as long as I can, hoping you will be there for the journey.
Best,
